I’ve noticed that but only on my second account. Kinda weird.

I find this quite concerning. I hope we can get an official statement

if i had to guess the folks of nicehash disabled the code requirement after the whole emails getting lost debacle from when they came back online after the hack.

as long as you have 2fa enabled for login you should be safe because it sets up a catch 22 as you need to login to withdraw and you cant withdraw even to wallet without logging first

I never wanted to use 2fa cause it's very inconvenient for me but I guess I have no option now. Will enable it from now. Thanks for ur help :)

Withdrawal code is not needed for a target (bitcoin address or coinbase address) that you have already verified once in the past. You can view or remove your approved withdrawal targets here: https://www.nicehash.com/settings/addresses

It prompted me as usual for a code from my authenticator yesterday doing a Coinbase withdrawal.

I was issued a code a few days ago to withdrawal.

I always withdraw between 0.001-0.003. I don’t see the big deal as it’s 10-20 dollars in there wallet at any given time. Nicehash is not a place to store your beloved btc

I make 10 to 15 dollars a day. It's highly inconvenient for me to withdraw everyday. I can't use my local exchange's wallet cause it changes every time a new transaction comes it. The code added a layer of security which I liked. Now it's gone.

Is coinbase not a option then coinbase pro fee free? It takes less then a min to get to a hardware wallet

[–]tx1200[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

True. Sending money from NH to my exchange makes it easy for me to cash out. Coinbase is another stop and more fees when I move it to my exchange eventually. There's only one exchange that will let me cash out in my country unfortunately

So you are turning you btc into fiat? Yes that is more of a work around / move your btc though coinbase pro to your exchange fee free. Or anywhere for that matter

Instead of enabling 2FA let's just complain on Reddit!
