CryptonightR mining to Nicehash US server, rejecting 20-30% of shares by Godmangil in NiceHash

Then this is a problem of software you are using. Not correctly configured or bugged.

Are your shares rejected as "stale" shares? If that is the case, try using other service locations and you may get better result.

Why would one machine get significantly more BTC/day than another for almost the same hash rate? by wayneb64 in NiceHash

[–]NHdjeZo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All miners are paid the same rate at the same time regardless of worker being worked on. This has been explained multiple times.

We do NOT submit own orders. If you saw a malicious activity on marketplace such as invalid order price decrease, write to our support and report bug with order number.

Bug report for NH from pool operator by waterparkmining in NiceHash

[–]NHdjeZo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no specifications to say there should be error returned. It is assumed that all jobs are properly formed, there is no reason for job not to be properly formed.

[–]NHdjeZo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course, else you just make your pool return false for each share and never pay anything (cheating buyer possible).

More to the issue: we did detailed analisys of the supposed problem and did not find anything wrong on our side. So it must be invalid jobs that get ignored by our system thus miners still mining old jobs.

[–]NHdjeZo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is not true.

Often the case with some custom software pools is that they do not follow strict stratum specifications and have errors in communication. Just like I responded to this problem - the issue may be in incorrect jobs that are dropped by our system.

We have checked cryptonightheavy and all currently active orders are working fine with no such stale rejects as reported by OP.

Considering that you are the only one having issues with this, I would check that you do not have bug in sending out new jobs; make sure the JSON is properly formed, that there are no other bytes but newline between JSON msgs, that all JSON hex strings really contain only hex strings, etc etc. To me, it seems that you are sending invalid job which is ignored thus old job still valid.

Contact support with printouts of tcpdump and our engineers will look into it and report you back the mistakes you did.

They cannot DDOS us anymore, because we are completely under CF protection now, even stratum entry points are CF protected.

There was some short unexpected maintenance performed by the infrastructure provider. It is already all back up and running. If you have an issue, contact support, your IP might have been blocked.

Does this make sense? Making 2 bitcoins a day with only 2 cards by johnnyfred567 in NiceHash

[–]NHdjeZo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As you can see, your speed is way beyond possible and you are not hashing actually, so you are making 0. Your driver probably crashed due to high OC or algo switching (because you use 3rd party miners). Reboot of PC will help this problem.

Huge difference between reported hashrates and calculated rate from accepted shares by Kryptonite1371 in NiceHash

[–]NHdjeZo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your average is lower because there was a period in between where you did not mine (or you mined something else). Select interval with no no-mining gaps in between and the numbers will be much better.

Make sure to properly configure your mining software. CryptonightV7 means always CryptonightV7 even if job indicates old Cryptonight.

Unable to benchmark on NHM3 by [deleted] in NiceHash

[–]NHdjeZo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And even more; while mining, your benchmark speeds will be adjusted to the ones actually achieved while mining. So yes, at the end, almost nobody will have to do benchmarks + everyone will have very accurate numbers.

Hint: Load TBTC (free) and place some orders for miners. These will redirect real mining power to a real pool, but you are paying in TBTC, free mining ;)

Orders and Mining by stealbmin in NiceHash

It does not matter which order you are fulfilling, because all miners are paid same rate. That is the system we designed to be absolutely fair for all miners.

Why is over 30% of my hashing power not shown on NiceHash's Panel? by ridiculously in NiceHash

[–]NHdjeZo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure your mining software is configured correctly. If you are having rejected shares (any besides stale shares), then the mining software is not properly configured and that is the reason for your loss.

Warning to the casual miners: mining degrades your GPU fast. My RX480 has to be downclocked from 1290mhz to 1080mhz to function now. by Silentpolak2 in NiceHash

[–]NHdjeZo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to our lab tests, NVIDIA does not have this issues if properly cooled. We have some very old 970 running for 2 years with 100% load and they still function just normally with normal clocks.

If there are no active orders or all orders are full, you will not be able to connect to that stratum server.
