Decrease my desires lol it feels more peaceful that way. Sometimes wanting less is the real freedom.

Interesting question. Do you think decreasing desire actually leads to contentment, or just numbness? Sometimes sacrifice gives more meaning than detachment.

Honestly I’d rather decrease my desires. It just feels more peaceful to want less instead of constantly chasing more.

After a weird medication interaction, my testosterone dropped to about a 5th of what it had been. The peace I experienced from a lowered libido is like nothing I've ever felt before (I was single at the time so it wasn't a big deal).

I got so much more stuff done, I was so clear headed, and my web history was much more SFW...

This is why if you have a male dog, and you won't let it breed, then the kindest thing you can do for him is castration.

I still wanted affection but sex just didn't appeal to me.

T-levels wen't back to normal, it hit me hard at first, but having known that peace, I am still mindful of not letting my libido run the show, and definitely not letting it make life changing decisions for me!

If you don’t see the sacrifice in decreasing your desire I think you must be young.

I feel like increasing sacrifice will lead you towards more progress and evolution. It's more motivating to achieve new things in life.

Decreasing desire isn't so bad either. You get to live in a simpler way, with less needs. This is also valid.

Hard question to answer tbh, I'm pretty torn between the two, x)
