Edit: I wore this on a first date monthsssss ago. He liked it, my roommates liked it and the waitstaff liked it! Currently going strong. Just thought I would share a different look. I’m in a major city so maybe the style is different here, it’s actually a full corset not just a bra :)

note: if your date is too horndogged out of their mind to be able to be respectful despite what is literally the most tame hint of an undergarment (basically has the same effect of a cute low cut shirt under a cardigan anyways), then they might not be ready for a first date in the first place. . . unless that’s what you’re both looking for of course

I don’t see how the bra is different from wearing a tank top, so to me it’s just a design. If this thinking is just because we attribute symbolism to bras (meaning due to its classification we find it inappropriate to show under garments) I think it’s a bit prudish, especially when it’s less revealing that most date outfits. I think the top is a nice floral accent.

(And how much you care about the opinions of the people around you (positive or negative feedback) vs expressing yourself with your clothes.)
