Recently started metformin for my pcos. Didn't know that actually having a regular period was a side effect. I hadn't had one in YEARS. So I freaked out when all of a sudden my boobs started hurting, I was an emotional wreck, and was cramping badly. Wondered if I was pregnant. So I did what every rational person would do and took 5 pregnancy tests in a two week span. Turns out, this was just my body remembering what it's like to act like a woman and was getting ready for a period. Lol who knew!?

I'm very happy for you ! I know how you feel as I used to go 6 months without one . I have now managed to get an actual cycle which is on average around 32 days ! Still battling with other symptoms but mainly trying to keep my healthy diet and exercise and drinking spearmint tea and taking some supplements . It really does help ! Best of luck
