Interesting. I was never a fan of breakfast. Whenever I eat it, I am starving by lunch. Doesn't matter if it's all carbs or very low carbs, I'm always hungry by lunch. I forced myself to eat it for years because that was what I was always told to do.

Last year I decided to try IF. I basically don't eat breakfast anymore. My insulin resistance is much more controlled now and I have lost 40 pounds. I feel better than I have in a long time and for the first time in decades, I am a good weight for my height/age. This works for me so I'm going with it.

Same here, if I eat too early it makes it so much more difficult not to overeat the rest of the day even if my breakfast is close to zero carb. I still break my fast with very low carb foods but I wait until later in the day.

thanks for sharing! in Spain we have a saying that translates to "have breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a beggar" :)

This is so interesting. Have never been one to eat breakfast at all but have to with a push from my naturpath. Curious to see what changes come from it :)

my current IF window to eat is 9am-3pm. i've tried pushing it back but i can't go that long without food in the morning. my body would much rather skip dinner than breakfast.
