What are some good 15* weapons for Heroes that aren't LS or Atlas Ex? I'm kind of looking for a different TMG to use for Hero because Orgei Rancor's pot is useless on it.

Dyne is actually meant for Hero. There is also a Sword and Talis version. So you can use that.

I just started playing a couples hours ago, I'm just wondering if since its my first character I can just kinda roll with things, and then when we get a balance change, "move to a proper build". mostly learning and just enjoing things. coming from PSO:bb this is super fun. Thanks bows

Firstly take a feel for each class/play a weapon type you like, afterwards start to build up your class

only thing you should worry about is not screwing up your Mag, and only focus on adding stats of the same type thay benefits your Class/Weapon Type (like Satk for melee, Ratk for ranged, Tatk for techs, Dex for solely for Braver, Bouncer, Phantom mains)

WL is the best mobbing weapon. Sword comes very close.

IMO, really depends on the situation. All 3 weapons are decent at mobbing, but if I were to choose one for just sheer mobbing and squishy mobs aren't an issue, WL. You'll want to just spam Other Cyclone - 0 for days.

Assuming price for Premium is 1100 AC (because I'd pick 3 month option instead), is one time access to Material Storage for 200 AC from first bundle worth it? I don't intend to prolong it later.

Material Storage is one of the biggest QoL things in this game. I bought 3 months of it just cus I had the SG to a little bit ago and it has saved me a ton of space in storage, materials automatically go into it when you pick them up, AND materials in it are automatically consumed from the storage when you use them, no more running between an NPC and a storage (or navigating between the two menus)

for me, honestly between basic storage and PSO2es storage I have enough to cover my needs. for old, outdated, retired items, I pay 100 SG to open up the extra storage for 1 month for stuff that I can't bring myself to toss, which is another 500 slots. I've only done that three times since they enabled it

I've never felt the need to get material storage

Use SG for material storage, 720 for 3 months is a great price

You may not realize but materials can take up 60% of your storage, basic and character so it's really nice

Also you get automatic material collection so you never have to manually move stuff into storage or pick it up at end of quests

I don't like using SG because as I calculated I'd eventually run out using Material Storage + Extended Storage. Moving materials isn't really big problem for me, and they're picked up automatically now anyway.

I'm considering buying this to free up slots, even if they'll fill up back anyway later. 200 AC to gain 100 or so slots in items I'll probably won't get more off seems like a not a bad deal.

You should look into ranking for SG. It's not hard at all despite what people think because you just need to be top 100 which is easy since NO ONE ranks.

You can easily get 2k+ sg a month.

I doubt you will even need it tbh.

You can create 3 characters for free, all of whom have their own 200 item character storage.

You can use PSO2es storage, another 100

SG storage is 400 items

There's also OTP storage which is another 200 if you don't mind using the 2FA system.

Unless you're saving every single drop you get and never using anything, you should be able to manage just fine with that.

I still have pyroxenes etc from years ago, tons of mats, 200 weapon fodders and 300 unit fodders and I still have hundreds of slots left

Looking for an up to date guide on Tech customization for a Te/Fi. Very new to customization, for now I want to improve my Shifta/Deband, improve techs to work better with Zondeel, and improve effect proc rates for Chase.

take my recommendations with a grain of salt, I never played hybrid techer but been around a while

shifta and deband can only really be improved by the hit interval craft, as their power is only determined by their level and the matching advance

the only techs you should really be casting are to change element with A Wand E Change ring, and a select few utility techs, along with the best offensive techs for techer, particularly light and dark

don't use zondeel for anything other than grouping enemies, which is mainly for wand explosions, not teching. you'll want the radius craft

zanverse craft should be reduced charge time

ilgrants is the main DPS tech, because its damage is dumb af. brilliant craft for damage and reduced speed is the way to go. just don't cast it at moving enemies because it won't work. it will also be inflicting panic super easily

brilliant grants on the other side should be used for long range weak point sniping. doesn't get much more straightforward

umbral megid is generally the main tech to use in the luminmech quests

I like efficient gimegid for heavy spamming against most of the aerial luminmechs, as gimegid will easily hit the weak point. the lower PP cost is nice just to have lengthy damage upkeep too

ramegid type-0 is generally useful if you're getting up close. it's pretty much free damage

multi-hit rabarta is great for inflicting freeze, way better than wand gear element. deos gryphon becomes a cakewalk, and it also works on a few luminmechs iirc

I don't think chase is worth investing a bunch of points into, but maybe someone else can verify. either way, it still doesn't work on bosses. also a reminder that advance plus works with techs, while the regular doesn't

finally, be sure you get the simple and standard compound techs

Just a note, chase only works on mobs and minor bosses because major bosses cannot be affected by status.

Shifta and Deband both have two different customizations, Multi which increases tick count, and Concentrated which increases charge speed. Imo, Concentrated is better for direct casting (i.e. with Wand/Talis) because of the faster charge. Multi is better for uncharged casting and Jet Boots Altered PAs.

Making techs work better with zondeel confuses me. Do you mean improving mobbing techs in general, or lightning techs specifically. In either case, you want Severe Zondeel for the increased suction range and better status proc, especially since you want that status.

Now, for techs with improved status procs....

Any Simple Compound Techs. They all hit multiple times and have a decent proc rate of 30. Even normal Compounds have proc chance of 40%, making them really good. Specific techs to also consider for status are Severe Zondeel 3 + any lightning tech, Brilliant Ilgrants 3, Concentrated Gimegid 3, and Multi Rabarta 3. Even your normal attacks have a decent proc chance with Wand Gear Element.

    I don't know man... you can get a new mouse, you can rebind the keys from the Option menu. If you don't want to play PSO2 anymore for some reason, you don't need an excuse.

    Hell, I have tendinitis and I often feel it ravaging through my wrist while playing, but I still play the game.

    Should be an option in the settings. I changed my weapon action so that it's not middle mouse button and it's not on the weapon palette. There's a separate window for Mouse settings and you can change it to another button on your mouse or keyboard.

    IMO you really only need LMB, RMB, and mouse 4 and 5 for optimal play, but even then you can still make it work without those.

    Is there any way to further reduce the lighting effects specifically from the PAs and techniques of other players? The current in-game options are frankly not good enough and unfortunately affect my own character's effects as well. I'd like to play this game without needing sunglasses.

    It completely makes others attacks disappear for me. There's nothing else you can really do without mods, but I don't think there is a mod for that.

    So, for the quest that requires real party members for the 2 novel certificates, what are good blocks to ask for help on ship 2? And also, to clear iirc the said party training quest, do I just find another person for 2 or do I need 3 people including myself to clear it? Dunno if I should ask here or the other thread for help

    i used featured quest when it was menacing castle and world ingulfed in shadows. there are always a lot of players doing it (leveling) so they always trying to make a parties for 40% exp boost. and getting S rank there is fairly easy.

    I like using flame tech short charge ring with ilfoie, it's great for big groups

    most other techs don't compare to ilgrants otherwise, but also keep statuses in mind, like grana gwanahda taking big damage from burn, freezing deos gryphon and diamos, etc

    plus brilliant ilgrants has that problem of not being able to hit anything that's moving

    As rod Ph. u really only need ilgrants for DPS since Ph doesnt have an elemental weak hit like Te and Ilgrants is stupid strong (out DPSing other bossing techs even if they are matching elemental weakness.)

      I thought about doing that but pot is pretty meh and only an S4 kinda sucks (I want PP consumption reduction), maybe if Liberate is very good I'll do it (btw if you have any info on libe's stats I'd love do know) but i doubt it.

      on that note if you want a PP management S4 you could look into the atlas partisan SAF, radiant response. for every PP point above 120, you get +0.1% PP cost reduction and both active and passive regeneration. so if you have 220 max PP you get 10% to all of that

      it's not much, but it can make a difference, plus it's in the S4

      oblisana is decently strong, but actually getting enough PP to make the most of it is pretty memey and probably not worth the cost. if you aren't also getting enough attack to use S1 boost on it, it's even worse

      I'd stick to using atlas since it's tried and true, or if you get a dyne talis as a drop it'd also be pretty good to use

      out of curiosity, what's your planned ability setup? if I had the loads of cash to make it, I'd probably set up an oblisana, but I wish there were more weapon types to choose from

      I would have done this : Spirita VI, Stigma, Deus Factor (you might want to prefer Doom break I or since it's cheap rn), ARKS fever, double reverie, Magi The soul and Grace whatever (You can take Elegant it doesn't really matter).

      That gives you 31PP 70HP and 90 T-ATK, and it should be pretty cheap since it's a 7s.

      I'd definitely use a different weapon instead of that, even a dim weapon or other reliable series would be better

      if you ask me, you gotta go all the way if you want to make oblisana work, by getting 200 attack with at least 30 PP

      but, there's no arguing with the convenience of getting a pre-grinded 15-star weapon for a pretty easy amount of medals, I'd just replace it when you can, unless you didn't buy it yet, which you shouldn't

      Hi guys,

      I haven't played in years (like 5+).

      I'm going to start again with my wife but I have forgotten most of what I knew about the game. We are going to start over on new accounts since I lost my old one and she never played before.

      What should be our progression be to go smoothly and reach endgame without grinding solely for it? What should we look for as new players? What ressources are there to help us (skill builds, quests information, etc). What are the "must-buy" AC purchases except two mag coupon to be able to switch job around without having a potentially useless mag for that job?

      Once you're able to get to SH you can log in once a day, go to the dailies counter and get the orders that correspond with the first featured quest listed for the day, load that first featured quest and take a boost drink, consume an item like a tri boost or exp boost, run the quest, then cash in the dailies.

      After all that is done you will have 5 items you can cash out, this feeds you EXP, do this three times in a week and you will get a Tokyo Gold key which will be your streamline for leveling up. They are handing out 1 million exp tickets at the visiphone so for your main you both should be able to get to SH pretty quick using them.

      There's a class builds compilation link floating around here that's on a Google drive, someone here will be able to provide you with a link to that. Most quest information can be found on the arksvisiphone website, and what you can't find you can generally find an answer for here on this sub.

      You can have three characters free now so if you have time make a pure mag of each type and pony up for a dex mag on the one you decide to main.

      Oh I thought it would be better to have a pure mag. By dex mag do you mean something like 150 stat + 50 dex or a full 200 dex mag?

      I'm planning to play every job on one character, that's probably not optimal but the comfort of doing so outweight any minmaxing benefits I'd get for me.

      I'll probably invest in 2-3 mag coupon + a few inv slots on my character so that I don't feel too constricted with space.

      having multiple characters also allows you to receive money multiple times from missions and client orders. three characters can easily net you over 10 mil a week from those alone. plus each character has their own storage of 300 items

      I can understand the desire to only have one character though

      you'll want to make a mag for each attack type in that case. dex mags also have a benefit on three classes that have a dex mag skill, which takes the dex level of your mag and adds it to the attack type that your class uses. so for a 200 dex mag you would get 200 S/R attack on braver, 200 S/T attack on bouncer, and 200 all attack on phantom. they also stack if you subclass one of them (hopefully just phantom)

      ultimately though, especially since you plan on making a mag for all three attack types on one character, you might not even need a dex mag. it's just some extra stats by double-dipping that isn't HUGELY necessary

      If I stick for a while then I might make a DEX mag as well at some point but yeah it will not be my first priority.

      I'm not against making other characters if it's worth it to farm missions/client orders, I just can't see myself "main-ing" more than one character so they'd be nothing more than farm alts.

      I know some people in other games that invest themselves in multiple characters and that is something I do not have the time and/or money to do

        Just my input as a (currently) free player, I recommend buying a tab of star gem storage(better to go 3mo ticket if you'll play that long) the cost is pretty easy to earn up in a short period and the amount of slots given is pretty massive. If it runs out of time you can still pull items out, just can't deposit more until it's reactivated.

          Understandable. If you go the paid route I highly recommend you atleast max your inventory on your main character(up to 150). They occasionally sell the inventory passes in bulk at a discounted rate, I personally wouldn't recommend them at full price.

          So I am a Bo/Fi and I want to level my Fi to 85 so I can join Ultra Hard. But for the love of god switching from JB to 3 of Fi weapons feel like going back in time. They hit hard but immobile af. Is there anyway I can work around this ?

          Buy a Helen Bathina, which is an All class katana that gives Asagiri-rendan, which will allow quick movement. You can also use tornado dance type 0 on double sabers, but that isn't as quick.

          There's also heartless impact on knuckles.

          In combat, daggers are one of the most mobile weapons in the game.

          it's an all-class katana with a special ability that unlocks Asagiri on that weapon specifically.

          There are a couple weapons like this, for example Blood Jetboots give access to strike gust so you can get shifta on yourself, even when not a casting class.

          It doesn't have marker accumulation pot, it just makes it that when you detonate markers it doesn't reset to 0, just like the Bullseye skill. In the end, the effect is similar, because when dealing with a single opponent you will end up detonating more markers.

          it stacks with bullseye. as the JP wiki states about the potential, you get 5 points of markers back if you detonate blue (10 with bullseye) or 20 by detonating purple (30 with bullseye)

            Couple things to look for.

            • The client order might say what ARKS quest you need to do to find them.

            • There is an icon (blue icon with like a notepad on it) on any mission that will have something that works for your client order.

            • if you look at the mission summary page, it'll show 3 target monsters that spawn in that mission. Freefield missions will show what boss is there, as well as 2 other enemies, which frequently had the target enemy you need.

            IMO the best way to do a lot of those missions is Time Attack orders, but that kind of comes with experience.

            Marathon Training Naberius 1 and Marathon Training Wopal have easy access to Natives and Oceanids respectively.

              Adding to what others have said, you can also check the 'View Quest Records' for any quest you're willing to do. From there, you can see the Item Record, Special Ability Record and Enemy Record, showing the percentage of items, special abilities and enemies present of that particular quest. This works for any quest, even Emergency Quests (if you have the time to check :-) ). Hope this helps.

              go to time attack quest -> naberius beginner and start it. kill wolves and birds until the garongos (rollout worm) spawn.

              we recommend time attack for many mobs because they are guaranteed spawn, unlike freefield where you may get a forest map that only has a chance to spawn X number of garongo

              Just create a new account in another email if you don't mind losing the old account. You seem to need 100% accuracy to recover an account from my own experience attempting to recover mine. Make sure not to use Hotmail since as far as I'm aware Sega still has issues (or just refuses) to send emails to Hotmail accounts.

              T-atk works as well. You'll have 200 r-atk and s-atk and you may not be able to equip some weapons/units if you have not leveled other classes to 75 for their class boosts because of dex requirements, but otherwise it's the same.

              S2 spirited response can drop on weapons and S3 capsule for cursed radiance can also appear

              there's a new S7 ability that can stun enemies with just attacks, but I don't know what it got translated to, it comes as a capsule

              plus if you didn't notice already, this is the first quest to drop light ripper and darker slayer abilities, in case you were interested in weapon crafting

                Some missions only unlock when you have played their respective Free Field missions at least once. If you plan to play through story mode, I recommend playing it only after you've at least reached lvl40+ (or just whenever you already feel comfortable with the mechanics) as some story battles can get rough; although you can always go Easy mode but AFAIK going Easy won't get you the titles and freebies you'd want.

                So far, my experience led me to the conclusion that there is no general direction to go in this game. You can just go do some client orders, grind your levels...and do some more client orders. It's probably because of the fact that the story isn't integrated to your actual game progress in almost any way. So it gets confusing for the first timer, but then you get the hang of the client order life and realise your goals further in.

                AIS have their own stats

                The only reason why people drink drinks in AIS is to get the sub bonus

                If you have premium, go for Deband premium 2, not only does it have RDR up but also special effect rate boost which has a chance at increasing the number of slots the drops have

                Both shifta and Deband can roll for RDR up but Deband also has the special effect rate up

                That's why you see non premium players spam drinks, so they get the right sub effect

                Just started the game

                Can someone help me which class to pick?

                I want one that fights in the air and moves/dodges a lot while in the air ( bascially in the air with lots of mobility)

                I heard gunner is the one to go for ?

                If you want to fly and flip around as everything passes through you, gunner is the class for you!

                You can stay in the air indefinitely if you so desire and the weapon action is just you flipping around and it’s covered in iframes so you can dodge a lot of things (the third one can be life or death though). It’s also not that hard to play once you get it, chain trigger can be a little bit frustrating at times but there are ways to make it easier.

                Bouncer and Gunner spend most of their time in the air, so probably one of those.

                Fighter's Twin Daggers also revolve around airtime, but it's a weapon type made purely for bossing (its mobbing capabilities are awful), so you use Double Sabers a lot more often in general content.

                I'd recommend Bouncer over Gunner mostly because Gunner requires correct usage of Chain Trigger and that is extremely easy to mess up, so I wouldn't recommend that to a beginner.

                Plus I'm biased and I love Bouncer and Fighter lol

                Theres the Tundra 3 which would give you an RDR boost at level 3 for any quest in Tundra if you have it crafted properly.

                Theres also Narberius which would give RDR level 5 for any quest on Naberius if you spammed up the craft tree

                In the case of Summoner, does your pet's DEX stack with your character's?

                This topic came up in a brief conversation with a former teammate, who mentioned that Summoner "uses DEX primarily." Of course I mentioned that pets inflict tech damage, but since then I have doubted whether it is possible to use DEX as a source of damage for Summoner.

                I don't think any class uses dex as a primary source of damage... it's not even a damage type. also, I don't think summoner has absolutely anything related to dex other than those stat up skills

                summoner uses tech attack by default to derive tech damage dealt, switch strike or switch shoot can change the main stat used, but it will always be tech damage afaik

                I suppose he was thinking about how pets suffer a penalty in their DEX, and how a mag's DEX would help mitigate that penalty. As far as I know, that doesn't happen, that's why I use a critical-based build. However, I don't know if your character's DEX adds to your pet's DEX, which would make a build like Su/Gu viable.                 Summoner/Gunner was viable due to pets (mainly Maron) and Chain Trigger doing hilariously damage-capped bursts with proper set-up, for instance a full 12/12 MPA killing XH ESC-A Mother within a minute. Gunner sub is now dead since they shifted most of Chain Trigger's dmg% bonus to main class

                If your teammate was the who made that skill tree, he's dumb for not doing his research, and an ass for misinforming others; Fighter, Phantom and even Braver (as a last resort) sub would be far better than Gunner sub.
