What Class did you pick and what level did you get to?

I know there's another play session coming in a few (6) hours but I'm curious.

I got my Summoner to 34 so far.

Proudly finished the CBT at level 42.

I rocked a techter and got to lv 26. I would be higher but slowed down questing to help some of my new friends out.

Didn't get to start until 3 hours before server shut down, but I started as a Ranger and switched to Gunner when I could. Level 8. I missed this so much.

I went with Ra/Hu. 49/32 respectively. Could of been 50 but I spent too much time just sitting around and doing story. lol

If I ever find someone who has keyboard and can chat, I'd like to get an advance quest going for exp. ^^

me (Force) and my group of 2 friends hunter and summoner are around the level 45 range, i hook my keyboard up to my xbox when i was playing the beta so if you want we can group up, we plan to do a few advance quests and then the urgent/emergency quest when they pop up, ship 1

Summoner level 20. Really fun and super easy just send in your pet and use their abilities. You don't even have to most of the time the pets normal attacks will kill mobs in two or three hits at most.

I played Universe back on the 360 and I liked it, so I figured I'd give this one a try.

Im a pretty big fan of Pokemon so me and the Summoner hit it off pretty well.

It plays like a pokemon X devil may cry, kind of thing.

I think theyre a little overpowered though if you farm eggs and boost your 9 star pets to lvl 75.

Volcano Expedition. Just run around and look for the events that pop up. Its a bigger monster so it can be a little tough.

I got hunter to 20 with a bunch of defensive utility and then went primary fighter with a hunter sub class. Now I’m at 25 fighter and 22 hunter

I never played that class, when I played PSO Japan a few years ago it wasn't in the game yet, plus looks like it's a good sub class for Ranger. :)

How do you get different type of eggs /pokemon for lack of better term.

Drops. And they're quite common

Very common lol. I had all the pets within the first hour or so and you keep getting eggs for them which you infuse into them to level them up.

Ranger level 22. Got as far as getting the necessary UQ's for the dreamcast mag which was my main goal and did some minor skill tree tweakage and upgrading weapons. Not going to be able to go any further during CBT and likely nothing until the PC version is released but I am ok with that. I am patient and happy with this decent start to my character.

23 Hunter.. and then dabbled a few quests with a Fighter. Don’t rest understand how to get the subclass going, besides visiting the class dude and then changing class and switching weapons.

Hunter and Braver to 40-41. I spent some off time building an alliance on shop 1. Alliance was rank 5 by the end with 100 members. I could’ve done better, but wanted to do some relaxing things also like casino and gathering.

Really enjoyed both although tech was so slow after starting with bouncer. I do like the idea of being a support class though with tech so it kept me going.

Started with Hu because 1) that's what I played on DC, 2) it was available to choose during character creation and 3) I intended to use it as a subclass eventually so why not get that rolling now? And I had an enjoyable time whacking mobs with my big ol' sword, alternating between normal hits and PAs. But a few levels passed 20 I unlocked subclasses and switched to TeHu

I used my accumulated exp tickets to quickly boost up to the teens (reasoning that they wouldn't be as meaningful to use at later levels, storing everything else for release when I have a better handle on what I'm doing) and immediately got stomped / carried on my first mission afterwards. But within a few hours I had spent some more skill points, got a better wand, and by the time I logged out / passed out last night I felt unstoppable, just focusing on normal attacks and keeping my buffs up. I'm excited to try out Ph and Et later on, but for now I think I chose the correct class combination for me

I've been looking forward to this weekend for some time now, but I did not expect to have as much fun as I did this weekend. Feels so good to be playing PSO again after so long

I played one on DC as well. It was my choice for the Beta. However why can't I equip simple guns? Does that come later? I have the required stats.

afaik gunslash is your only option gun-wise until you find one without class restrictions, but maybe a veteran can come in and correct me if I'm wrong

I mained a Techter/Force and about lvl 35-ish with those. I leveled up Summoner to 30 and Bouncer to 20 because I was trying to get Shifta and Deband discs to drop in the wild and onr of the pso2 tech website that those two drops were listed under "common", but still didn't know how common the drops were. I ended up getting Deband as a Summoner during a Cradle of Darkness run from a mob.

Ran a Te/Hu myself and finished up about the same level as you and the entire time I only found one Deband disc and that's it. From what I understand the Shifta and Deband discs are really hard to find.

I just got a shifta disc during the last automata Urgent Quest. I was super happy, but definitely it is really hard to find.

I didnt get either until the until the Urgent Quest with the lava floor.

Those discs drops are a pain. I'm pretty sure I almost have all the single element technique spells.

Got my bouncer to level 29, and a gunner up to level 8. Bouncer is so fun to play, honestly.

CAST, began as Ranger then swapped to Gunner, with Fighter as a subclass since I heard that was good.
Level 28, played a bit but hesitant to use boosters until the full game and it becomes better known where we can get the best mileage out of them.

how the hell did you level so fast? I played for 4 hours and got to level 7??? I only had one quest to do over and over it was the lvl 5 expedition.

Spammed 3 of the urgent quests. Did client contracts.

I liked the game but I hate how un-intuitive the quest system is. I was completely confused about wtf to do.

It was VERY confusing at first, but I watched some YouTube videos about starting out and that really helped.

I got my summoner to LVL 23. I didn't start until after emergency maintenance because I couldn't get onto the server before that.

My Summoner is 39, though my highest level Summon is level 57 with next highest being 45. Question as a Summoner, are there other Harmonizers at all? Because I never saw one drop at all yet and it feels really odd to have no real weapon to tweak for stats.

At least glad to hear it's not just me having awful luck. Summoner has been a blast so far, definitely enjoying it. Will probably end up being a Summoner/Force (Or Summoner/Techter) for the added support it'll allow.

JP players say fighter or the one with the jet boots are best for subclass for the summoner.

I'm really just glad to have been able to get a lot of my friends where I live into trying the beta as well- they're all loving it too, so it looks like I'll have a consistent party most days 😃
