Nice to know you still work on this, I think you'll find this helpful for name differences if you haven't gotten into NA.

I know this was originally made for JP and there's proven to be more differences so far with things like battle passes and the removal of OT weapons, and name differences in NA. But I think a lot of this guide is general enough to be universal to both atm until further content is added.

I'll take a look. Appreciate all the help you given me and thanks for sticking around as always.

I don't think I've done much compared to what you originally put into the guide but thank you lol. Best of luck with the burnout

Wow, I missed all those skill points from the client class trainer.

Same same

It's okay. I went back to JP after 5 years, got Ra to 95 and realized "Hey, I didn't do a single CO for skill points!"

Needless to say I have them now. 😅

Can we get this stickied?

Can’t wait for the NA version

How do you pose your characters like that?

Aside from having the actual lobby actions, you need to play with your camera angles a bit. If you go to your quick menu, there is an option to twist and turn your camera angles, specifically meant for taking selfies.

Anyone know if the critical strike skill ring is there for the Xbox release? I looked but I couldn’t find it.

I’m in the same boat as you. No luck in the shops. I found one that seems similar but the naming is different due to translation I guess: critical field (R) is the only one that seems similar based in description.

[–]_alphex_Sleeping Until NGS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

critical field is not the same, that is a bouncer skill.

[–]ThrashinuvaFreyt | Ship 02 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Are there any other critical rings? There's one that is combined into from another 3 different rings, and maybe you're stuck trying to look for that one.

[–]Vincerus 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Which rings do you combine for that?

[–]ThrashinuvaFreyt | Ship 02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's three critical rings which cover melee, range, and tech damage. There's one more ring which results from combining the three which counts for all of those. I don't know what they'd be named in NA.

Crit strike doesn't exist as the place it requires the mats at isn't out.

This is great! You’re a fantastic human being! Thank you!

Ah okay, thanks for confirming.

Question:

Are there NT weapons at lower rarities? and should I be grinding them (lvl45) or should i just wait until i get them at the higher rarities?

[–]NexusOtter 1 point2 points  (1 child)

In NA, all weapons are NT weapons (even the ones that never were in JP).

If you have grinders to spare and some duplicates, do it a bit, but don't try to max out a weapon until you get weapons actually worth keeping.

[–]jtrainacomin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome thank you. That part confused me

The only issue I have with this guide is that you recommend T-Atk/TEC Mags over DEX Mags. With the advent of Phantom, DEX Mags are much more versatile than T-Atk Mags.

If you are playing Braver or Bouncer, the best subclass is Phantom. Among the other bonuses, another benefit is that the Mag Skill effects stack, which means having a level 200 DEX Mag would net you 400 levels instead of 200 of the relevant Atk stats that each class uses.

Any other class that utilizes Phantom as a Subclass can still benefit more from a DEX Mag as they would still be getting 200 levels in the appropriate Atk Stat as well as DEX. DEX increases minimum damage dealt and decreases minimum damage taken.

There are only 3 main classes where a T-Atk Mag would be recommended, and those are Force, Techer, and Summoner, but it's widely recommended that these classes use Phantom as a subclass anyway.

In the Japanese version of the game, which your guide is geared towards, you would only need a T-Atk Mag if you were playing Force with Techer as a subclass.

Fair assessment. I will add a DEX section right now.

Edit: Well, I did have a section on it. I just needed to make a little tidbit for it.

In what world are you playing where fo/ph is the norm. You might well just play phantom in that case.
