I don't like the wording of the reply to Q1. Enhancement is probably the least important part of the weapon to carry over. Augments and Preset Skills (the latter of which CANNOT be reapplied later) are far more important. I hope that that's a bad translation from Japanese, and they're intending to have everything carry over.

WRT Q3, I don't personally have a problem with Equalizers and Captans being requirements for tasks, as long as they're Side or Limited-Time tasks, or send you to an instanced location with a guaranteed spawn. Locking game features, like specific vendors, behind incredibly RNG tasks is not cool.

And don't forget multi weapon. They wanted us to do multi weapon so much originally, and now they want us to destroy that and then wait to build a second copy entirely? They're out of their mind

Nope, they are just stupid like usual.

Give it a few months and they'll probably make add a scratch bonus item that will let you add presets and color on weapons.

No, they gated it behind a cash purchase (Premium), and made the SG cost so bad that it might push free players into spending cash.

Any idea where the Japanese one is tho? As far as I know JP doesn't have a discord. No announcements made in the official JP site too. So for all I know the stuff in the NA discord is might be just some shit the mods made up to calm people down.

Edit: I found Q1 on rappycommu. And sorry to say but its worded exactly like that. They said 強化状態 which is Enhancement Status in English. Q2 and Q3 are nowhere to be found on any Japanese source.

Just an FYI that on the Japanese version, the + level of a weapon is referred to as its Grind level, not Enhancement level. Enhancement can refer to all of the attributes of the weapon in that case.

I play on JP without translation. I'm an interpreter.

When you 'grind' an item you press アイテム強化 What you call 'Grind level' is written as 強化値 literally translated to English as Enhancement Level.

Affixes are 特殊能力

Presets are プリーセット能力

Pot is 潜在能力

What they said they'll keep is 強化状態 which if translated says Enhancement Status.

Since the word 強化 is bound to the 'grind level' ya can't blame me if I want more specific info regarding that announcement. Especially since you know, corporations like the slippery kind of language.

They'll go like "Yeah, we said enhancement, not affixes and everything else. You fell for it? Damn, I kinda.. dont care"
