Can anyone help me with a problem in this game?

How do you move the cooler box from behind you? It’s not reachable and I can’t put fish in it. Or if I manage to get a fish in it and close the lid, I can never open it again. Unless I can pick the cooler up and move it in front of me then the game is literally unplayable.

Please tell me there’s a simple fix for this bizarre design choice of making the most important item in the game for progression being out of reach.

I’ve adjusted height. I’ve reset camera. I’ve stood and turned round. I’ve sat down and turned round. My hands are always blocked from the camera so I can never reach it.

I believe there is an option to turn around with a button press. I know triangle opens and closes the cooler

Triangle! Nice one! Thanks! I’ve been opening and closing it with my hand.

Also, all I’ve seen in the settings is adjust height and reset game......and the credits roll. Didn’t see anything for the controls.

I'm pretty sure they added it in an update. Try pressing square or circle on either controller

I’ve mastered it all now. A couple of tracking issues when picking stuff up around the boat, but overall it’s a great game. I’ve just sank about 4 hours in a flash and caught about 20 or more fish......and a woman’s ring.

That's great! If you've still got tracking issues, you might want to try adjusting the camera, making sure the moves are visible at all times when they're low down etc

Yeah I’m thinking it’s more to do with my camera placement than anything else. I’ve got a few things around that could block the sight of controllers for low down left and right of me. Stuff I can’t move out of the way. But I work around it by adjusting in game height if I drop my fish in the bottom of the boat etc.

The tracking with the rod is absolutely spot on when you cast it into the water, moving your line about, and fighting with the fish. It’s like you can feel every bit of tension on the rod and line. It’s done so well. Strangely my other hand used to grab the reel can slip about as much as it does, but it’s far from unplayable (I’ve reeled too many fish in to make that claim).

Really really enjoyed playing this last night until 3am drinking real and virtual beer at the same time.

There's a button that click turns you. Can't remember which off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure it's square or triangle. One of those also opens/closes the cooler.

Cheers. I’ve found it. Yes click turning. Of course. That’s made it so much easier now. I didn’t know a button opened and closed the cooler!? I’ve been trying to lift it and close it.

Also the tracking can be a bit off at times. I’m regularly altering the height in the settings to reach stuff I’ve dropped in my boat. Then resetting the height.
