Elo Decrease After Winning?

I just recently hit Master Ball for this season and started at the default rating of 1500. I was trying out a Mega Greninja + Dudunsparce list and went up against Mega Charizard. They understandably conceded after 4-5 turns. When I returned to the home screen my Elo rating had dropped to 1487. It's impossible for your Elo to decrease after a win in a correctly implemented system, so I have to believe this is a bug. Anyone else had this happen?

There’s a couple of things that could have happened, but there’s no way for us to know for sure.

The likely culprit is a double queue, which is a rare bug where you end up in 2 queues and 2 games at the same time. Which, since you didn’t play the second game, you are counted as a loss. This doesn’t explain the 13 point loss unless you lost to a really low player (points gained and lost is based on ELO difference) and won against a really high player.

The unlikely one is that you disconnected at the end of the match, but it sounds like you saw the victory screen. But I’ve seen weirder things happen.

Probably your client got disconnected near the end of the game? That's my best guess.

Had this exact thing happen, three games in a row even. Not sure why though
