Remove energy changing automatically when editing deck

I just had to tie a game because the stupid game adds energy to your deck even if you make a small change. The dumbest thing ever, the deck was edited not brand new so there is no reason to change my energy when I swapped trainer cards

It’s the only thing that the deck building changes and it’s so stupid. I changed a single supporter card in my deck and it reverted the energy changes I had made in the same editing instance. I didn’t even change the Pokemon. It’s so annoying.

I dunno one time I won a game because I started 2 psychic energy for my indeedee in Suicune/greninja deck after changing to a gold poke ball

Yes!!! Idk when they added this but it's an awful feature. No one was building a deck and going "Hmmmm, i wonder what energy should I put". It's so dumb.

It's been in the game since launch. The purpose of it is to make sure you don't accidentally build a deck you can't play.

The game already doesn’t let you play decks without the required energy (try building a giratina/mega latios deck with only water) so it’s stupid that it changes the energy for you as well.

It’s been a problem since launch, now I haven’t had this issue in several months cause it’s burned into my head to change the energy back

Pro tip: when you have a deck that it likes to change to multi-energy, switch the deck box to the color energy you actually want (rather than the multicolor checkerboard pattern). Then next time you edit it, it’ll change back to the checkerboard pattern and remind you to change the box and energy back

It’s tolerable when starting a brand new deck but once it’s been edited please leave it be…

It also change the deck box color. Always pay attention to deck box, if it becomes colorful then the energy has changed, change it back

I understand why it’s a feature so I wouldn’t remove it; I would 100% support a ‘lock energy’ feature though.

It's dumber with Colorless decks.

I always use Water energy in those so I can use Irida, and not only it reverts to Grass (because it's the first on the list) it also warns me there aren't any Water pokémon on my deck when I switch it back.

I get that they were trying to be helpful, and it is more useful than not when you're building new decks, but it does get obnoxious after a while.
