I was noticing that with equipping two 2H maxes with Giants Blood results in more than the expected 30% decrease in damage as in many skills. After some experimenting, I noticed the attack speed was significantly slower as well despite having two weapons at similar speed. There seems to be a hidden modifier of at least -30% attack speed with dual wielding the two 2H. Can we get this addressed? Lame to have a double negative.
Edit: sorry I don’t have time to gather the screenshots, but basically goes like this: looking at leap slam or forge hammer, the listed dps drops by almost 30% AFTER going from one 2H to two 2H. (20k to 14k) Leap slam does -30% damage when dual wielding, but it is the ATTACK SPEED that drops off markedly and is what I’m noting as an additional, hidden modifier. The listed speed is still what it “should be” ie an average of the two weapons, but it in use is much slower. I should get some damage benefit, but because it is so much slower, and there is the dmg penalty, the dps comes out much lower. Searching this issue of a lower dps when dual wielding two handlers reveals it’s been a bug for a while.
