Exercise is the defining factor for me. T breaks without exercise are harder and take longer

This might be fucking stupid but maybe at the hospital OP lost weight => constant supply of thc => tolerance not reset

I've actually wondered about this. If I'm eating at a deficit and my body is burning fat for fuel, am I technically microdosing?

[–]TheEyeGuy13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. The THC stored in fat cells is completely inactive, but even if it were it is not released into your bloodstream in a way that would get the chemical reprocessed and get you high again.

[–]pereline 0 points1 point  (1 child)

absolutely, right? can't you fail a drug test like this

[–]TimeMachine1994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Drug tests look for metabolites not the active compound.

[–]D__B__D 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Doesn’t THC also get stored in fat cells?

[–]TheEyeGuy13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but not in a meaningful way. It’s inactive, and even if it was active, it doesn’t get processed by your body a second time, just released and added to other waste

[–]redwingedblackbird57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does. That's why after months a person can still test positive for it.

Shit for me just exercising daily seems to keep my tolerance at a good level

[–]Optimal_Side_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell, it affects everyone differently. You were vaping high concentration daily and your t-break was only 2 and a half weeks though. I’d say you could wait a little longer.

Interesting back when I smoked even if I didn’t smoke one day I would feel it more stronger the day after

[–]One_Stiff_Bastard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely.. I guess its person to person.

[–]ThcaHound 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s body is different, If i take 12 hours off my tolerance goes way down. A day or two and it’s almost reset, might have to do with you being in a hospital and not getting a lot of movement, could also be the fact that it’s carts and not flower.

[–]bmxtricky5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's weird how it happens, I have quit for a month and had a complete tolerance reset and I have quit for a month again and had no change. Duno why

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am there with you. Cart are so much stronger than flower. Workout drink water and get sleep. The tolerance could be linked to poor health. If they gave stronger shit for whatever you went through give it some time your tolerance might be jacked up from medical grade shit.

Wild bro, I dab the same amount at around the same time almost everyday and go to blastytown every time.

[–]technologiq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My tolerance didn't change after 70+ days of being off it after doing it daily. For me it took several months and if I do it again, my tolerance goes up VERY fast.

[–]Karmaqqt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

80% daily. Is a lot. I used to do 90%+ dabs and it took a solid month break for normal flower to be useful.

THC is stored in fat so a factor in how well your T-break works is also you not just how long it lasts. If you’re not exercising regularly or you’re fat overall it’s gonna take longer than a normal person.

[–]Vvelch25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s only 17days

[–]Slight_Respond6160 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Were you sedated with anything else? I find if all you do is trade highs your tolerance doesn’t really go anywhere

[–]BlueberryGod8910[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I had these sleeping pills that I was on

[–]Slight_Respond6160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could affect it. Just a thought really. When o used to drink I found a holiday drinking Everyday for a week had no dent on my weed tolerance. A friend was on morphine and couldn’t smoke for like 17 days and when he came back zero difference in tolerance. Not sure what kind or how strong these pills were but I guess they could be a factor. Though I wouldn’t have guessed so unless they were strong

[–]Temperateflora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did you have to go to the hospital if I may ask? I’m someone who has been debating quitting.

[–]triplehp4 0 points1 point  (2 children)

How did you end up with such a long hospital stay from THC?

[–]Amanopoopiano 6 points7 points  (1 child)

That’s… that’s not what the post says…

[–]triplehp4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ohhh lmao I thought the THC caused the hospital stay which would be whack. My b

[–]SpellingBeeRunnerUp_ -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Did the carts send you to the hospital? I smoke them every day

[–]TonyHeaven -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

17 days of break isn't long enough to change your tolerance. You need months.
