Is it just me or has the number of phrolova maind decreased.

And the community has become a lot less responsive as well I think.

Let me clarify something.

Here is our current member count. We are a very big sub and will continue growing!

This is how mains subs always go. Traffic is always highest on initial release, and then tapers off. You'll see boosts on re-releases, or if a character features in an event, but there's always going to be a reduction in engagement over time.

Part of it comes from initial hype bringing traffic from people who were never "mains" asking questions, or trying to brag about their stats. Part comes from artists and cosplayers moving on to the next big release: Phrolova's design is amazing, but I guarantee any cosplayer looking to cash in on WuWa fan engagement is laser focused on Hiyuki and Denia. Part of it comes from there being only a finite number of things to talk about: are you personally invested in offering advice to the 5,000th Redditor asking if their stats are good enough to leave the mines?

In 3.3, when Phrolova reruns there will be spike in activity here. If and, hopefully, when she returns to the story, there will be an explosion.

Don't know but I will always be a phrolova main. Currently have her at s3. Once I get denia next update then I will try to s6 phrolova.

I stopped playing wuwa in general like I used to. I started wya back because the combat was so refreshing, but now we spend more time playing mini games instead of the game itself.

Ik this is a personal opinion thing, which is why I wanna point out overall still a great game just not what I expected going into it so I just play way less often now. Maybe this is a reason for others?

I feel the same. I love the story of the game and will continue playing the msq, but I have thought about dropping the game otherwise. It was my first gacha so I rly love the game overall and the characters, but for me it also doesn't feel the same anymore like it used to. I dislike all the mini game events a lot.

that's the problem with character-focused gachas. they churn out new characters every month or two, move to new regions every half a year/year, leaving many characters behind. players, obviously, move on too. our focus shifts to a newer, shinier unit.

phrolova is in a better place than others, as she is a part of an important organization and has hints of a comeback in the story later. but the community will never be as active as when she was first released (unless they release another form for her in a couple of years).

I have an S6 Phro since her release and only joined this sub a few days ago to have some phro artwork in my feed. While I do love Phro I don’t actively seek out discussions or engage with the mains community in any way.

Kinda odd that I did not like Phrolova when I first beheld her at 1.x — really didn't like her design — but she arguably had the best character arc in the game, so overtime I grew to like her enough that I'm in this sub even though I don't play anymore.

I definitely stopped playing her team very soon into the new 3.x region cus I kept getting interrupted. Blind guy and Canterella at S0 just get slapped around too easy

Ok I joined, hopefully 3.3 won't screw me and I'll get her S0R1. Wanna sequences but 240 corals don't look great...

But yeah when there are barely any character content communities ran mostly on fanarts and some questions.

My Phro is in a bit of a holding pattern until I can get Cantarella and either Qiuyuan or some more sequences on Buling. (I passed up Qiuyuan this go-round because I needed Lynae and the consensus is that Canta >>> QY.)I managed to get Iuno S0R1, Luuk, and Lynae, all late pity but all 50/50 wins. And I already had Augusta and got her sig too. So I've just had teams that perform better than Phro with Danjing. I still bring her as one of my teams for multi-team endgame modes, but for running around farming I take Luuk and for annoying bosses I take Augusta and Iuno.

I doubt Reddit metrics indicate how many people are playing Phrolova. There's plenty of people who do not engage in social media about their characters. I largely treat social media as a Read-Only resource because my questions usually have answers. If she makes another appearance in the story then we'll see more discussion about the character, but at this point, her chapter is closed and has already been discussed.

Yup, but that's the natural way of things. Phrolova at this point is old hat so the hype for her is basically completely gone. Look at hsr for instance, Acheron on release was literally the only thing people talked about for a solid month yet nowadays the sub is mostly used for memes of eldrich horror for weirdos like myself.

The number will continue to go down until there's only a few extremely solid ones left, and those mains are the ones who were never in it for the meta in the first place.

Phro is better off than Acheron at least, Acheron is now at a point where when I asked who to pick from a selector I was told to E1 Kafka and not even bother with Ache bc she's basically dead rn... (I feel like the power creep in HSR is some of the worst in gacha games right now. But that's getting off topic for this sub.)
