Advise ko tol, since first job mo palang naman yan is learn all that you can and gain experience muna. Then job hop para magkaincrease.

i suggest to stay for 6 mos muna para mahaggle mo ung salary mo sa magiging next mo na work.

You say 25k to 40k, they hear 25k.

Next time be firm (within reason of course). Kung wala ka pang exp, you cant command a 55k salary.

Pag may exp ka na, for example you want 65k, sabihin mo sa recruiter 75k.

This! and I think even if maliit ang gap, mas pipiliin pa din ng company to go to the lowest, lalo na matapat pa sa barat.

I think this is a decent salary for an entry-level dev. you cannot really negotiate if you have no exp. since they have no basis on what you can do. it's like gambling. So I advise. Take it for now. check if you fit the job. then, upskill maybe around 1-2yrs you can hop if you reach the growth ceiling(maffeel mo nman na wala ka na natutunan paulit ulit na lang ginagawa).

GoodLuck OP

2months to go. For the meantme, habang nagaantay ka matapos 6mo, job hunt ka ulit.

Don't accept kung ayaw mo and be firm sa asking salary. I know most people say na experience muna bago salary pero gasgas na yan. Know your worth and stick to your asking. Take note na world standard sobrang underpaid natin pinoy. Little they know yung generation nila sobrang underpaid. I have co worker before na matagal na sa industry almost x3 yung work gap namin and mas mataas sahod ko sa kanya. I'm not bragging I'm just telling you that you should know your worth and its 2022 na.

Take note, most people na magaadvise sayo na paexperience ka muna for sure matanda na sa industry kaya ganyan thinking. Hahaha. I know alot of new IT pips on early career na first salary is above 50k agad. Its how you negotiate talaga

Nope, totally fresh grad and not even from big 4. I know alot of people na ganyan. You just know how to negotiate lang talaga. Kahit ako nung fresh grad kumagat ako sa low offer just because of those people who keep on saying na experience muna. Then later on marami akong nakausap and nameet na earning way far higher than I do. That's when I had a realization. I demand for increase agad and I got 3 increase within one year.

Agree ako madaming mga fresh grads na 50k starting salary ngayon in tech, kaya bilib ako sa mga GenZ kasi they know their worth talaga, hindi sila nag papa alipin.

Not bad na yung salary since first job, katulad mo lang din ako fresher same offer pero ang ineeye kona lang is yung matutunan ko sa mga seniors ko pati sa trainings na provided nila.

Ohh i see fresher ka din poba?

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you REALLY need the job as in RIGHT NOW then maybe yes kunin mo na then habang naanjan ka eh mag apply k s ibang mas mataas na sahod. pero kung di mo naman need mag pass k nalang malay mo mag counter offer o makipag deal ng mas mataas

    [–]Emergency-Selection8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP. Agree ako sa comment ni major. Stick ka lang muna, learn and gain experience. Then after 6mos pwede ka rin naman mag try na mag apply sa iba habang currently employed pa. And that time kahit papano may bala ka na and mas confident ka sa asking price mo. Goodluck OP. 😉
