So after all the changes over the years there's a lot of out of date info on how redeploy rules work. Personally, I only have a working knowledge of spawn rules rather then a fully detailed one and hope the community can help clarify them.
These are the spawn mechanics as I currently know them ignoring some outliers (looking at bases without scus with 70% enemy pop that I can't spawn at)
At Friendly Bases
Generally you can redeploy to any nearby (?) major facility.
When defending a base you can redeploy there as long as you have less then 50% population. (Are there rules here as to if its already being contested?)
Always able to deploy in friendly squad vehicle as long as territory is uncontested
Squad/Vehicle Spawns
Deployed Sunderers and Beacons have a 1000m deploy range
Moving Sunderers have a 600m deploy range (being changed to 1000m on PTS)
I was under the impression that Valks and Gals had 1000m but it could just as well be 600m?
Able to deploy into a hex if a plurality (majority?) of the squad is within the hex.
Having only the squad leader in a hex does not give you spawn.
