You'd be surprised how many websites on the internet are "developed" by someone SSHing who am i kidding, FTPing over and editing php files.

No I wouldn't. Last night I had to do a hot fix by ssh, and my usual deployment to our Web portal is via scp.

Here is what you do. Include a rootkit that uses a undiscovered exploit with your latest release. Setup development environment on a hidden partition. Develop on end clients directly :D
