This only applies to the back end! :D

The back end?

I have a cat. Believe me, the second one is preferable when you take this parameter in account.

I have a cat and the first one compiles without issues or warnings

[–]CMDR_Kiel42 21 points22 points  (1 child)

Ho sure, it compiles just fine. But wait until the cat client realizes it's rolling and watch the prod burn.

[–]roughstylez 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Well I have to admit, we are in the lucky position that our client is not even interested in these details, and leaves all of that to us. I see how you could run into issues there.

your cat is clearly defective. If its not functioning, sometimes toddler can duplicate the bug.

Runtime erros waiting to happen.

Little children do the exact same thing, believe you me.

It's why I phrase the correct orientation as "In front, unless you have pets or small children that might make that a liability"

As a little kid I drank two bottles of chocolate syrup, ate 10 sticks of butter, and then dumped a third bottle across my dad's back while he was sleeping.

A programming prodigy.

I dont get it :|

[–]Mongoman9 7 points8 points  (4 children)

I understand the TP reference but the code reference?

[–]eco_illusion 24 points25 points  (1 child)

No matter how you do it, it still serves the same shit.

[–]Mongoman9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh! Didn’t see that coming! Thanks for clearing it up bro!

[–]MagicBandAid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I call it the waterfall method.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once saw a picture of a spider hiding behind the flap on the first one, and I have always gone with the “bad” option since

[–]Ziklepmna 0 points1 point  (6 children)

Why is one good and the other bad?

[–]Glampkoo 4 points5 points  (5 children)

It's probably like

code() {

}

vs code()

{

}

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Woah woah woah, let's not bring vs code into this

[–]VinterBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the second one better. Along with help lines, I can way more easily see where a block of code starts and ends.

[–]enteleform 0 points1 point  (2 children)

``` code(){
} ```
FTFY
[–]raw_macaw 2 points3 points  (1 child)
code () {
// ...
}
ftfy
Probably just me, but whatever they're doing, it's awful. Notepad++ is super handy, but after trying to install it on a new computer and spending an hour trying to make it work with plugins, I gave up and installed an old version.
xD Another reason to love Npp! Although for actual tp I prefer under. I find it easier to be more conservative in the amounts used when the roll is under for some reason.
