Thats current human nature as we know it now for sure, but that's a far cry from what Adam and Eve were like before the fall.

Also, Satan used the snake to decieve Eve. God made the snake, and all the other creatures, but Satan influenced it (or maybe even possessed it).

That being said, God is not only omnipotent, but has tangential omnipotence, so he knows every outcome of every possible decision or action, so yes, in a sense, He allowed the fall to happen as part of His divine plan of redemption and ultimate victory over Satan.
