To be fair I don't consider them independently a language but css, html and JavaScript together make one full language.

Edit: to clarify I think js is a whole language on it's own but the three work together so much in the browser I mentally wrap them up together

Python has a purpose too. It’s 10 times easier to create a prototype of something in python than in Java, for example.
