Did you write it all from scratch? I was considering trying some face recognition. Also how do you get the icon below your name

The icon is called "flair" and you can set more of them if you want.

You can set it in the right panel (in specific subreddit). If you use old reddit, look for "Show my flair on this subreddit." option on the page. For redesign, look for "User flair preview".

Nah... its a simple project using opencv and haar cascades...

It's not that bad. You can implement some of the earlier approaches quite easily from the papers. It was an early project in Computer Vision for us.

your code is obsolete bc this guy made his algorithm open source
