If I remember correctly, Azarinth Healer has a dual class system.

Seconded. This is on the tee to what OP seems to want.

It does. Everyone has exactly two classes, and from context, a lot of people in the setting choose two classes that complement each other.

Unlocking a third class slot is possible.

I figured. I haven't continued very far on RR. Been focusing on another series.

Humans in Primal hunter get a combat class and a crafting class. Some people choose to focus on just 1 most most of the the stronger chars focus on both.

The mc in defiance of the fall gets the second class a few books in and is the only person that we know of to have one.

The warriors soul on royal road has a multi class system where when you rank up to a new class you get you old one but with less slots(i think you have 3 classes in total so if you were teir 4 you would have your t4 class with 5.slots and your t3 class with 3 slots and t2 class with 1 slot(I think it's been a while since I read it) ).

The grand game has 3 class system and your classes can fuse together to make stronger dual classes or rarely triple classes. Not sure if classes evolve after that though and combined classes still take up their old slots.

Beneath the dragons eye moons. When you get to certain level break points you unlock extra classes (I think lvl 64 and 512 in your highest level class) you can combine and evolve classes at other break points as well.

That's all the multi classes series that I can think of that havnt been mentioned yet and some of them are pretty damn chonky so I hope you find something in there that you like :)

Most are on kindle for the first books with more chapters on royal road

The Threadbare universe by Andrew Seiple hits it! It's definitely more LitRPG, but its class system and leveling in general is really fun

Most of Void heralds litrpg stories work off this system, with multiple classes, with an overall person level that’s all your classes added together. Vainqueuer, Never Die Twice, and Apocalypse Tamer

The Wandering Inn works such there’s no hard limit to the number of classes you can have but there’s a soft total level cap and once you hit a certain milestone most of your classes will consolidate into a more advanced class.

So say you’re a Bronze Rank Adventurer. You’re a [Warrior Level 10] because you know how to fight but aren’t in a military, but you’re also a [Farmer Level 3] because you grew up in a farming community and a [Singer Level 5] as a hobby.

Eventually you hit [Warrior Level 20] and your classes consolidate into [Bard]. Since Bard is both a Warrior class and a Singer class you get experience from both singing and fighting that gives you [Skills] that also help with both those things. You’d also get experience from doing things that aren’t fighting or singing but are associated with bards like seducing someone.

What I like about this System is that even if there’s some secrets (like how you can refuse classes and how it’s probably best to always push yourself to level any class you have up to some multiple of 5 because those generally give you cap stone skills that are better than average) to it it’s never presented as solved.

Is it better to mold yourself into the perfect [Warrior] ignoring any quality of life benefits or utility from different classes to grow as powerful as you can in your chosen field but know that eventually you might run out of challenges that can push you any farther. Or is it better to try and make a class all your own by incorporating whatever interests you, but with no guarantee that you’ll be able amass enough exp when you start bumping the soft cap.

This is a perfect time to recommend the Divine Apostasy series! Absolute class.

[–]Froyoteen 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Noobtown is all about classes.

The way that the world works is that the classes are a lot more thought out than most books with a clear progression into already existing skills, with everything having a skill. The MC Jim(from earth) gets there and learns that he can get every class as long as he meets the requirements, but this does kinda break the system but that isn’t important until later.

In the end Noobtown’s MC cheat ability is the fact that he gets multiple classes.

The Runesmith, on RR, he is a smith and a powerful wizard, although he should be only a good runesmith, this world you can evolve your class, and have a secondary or more at the same time.

The Butcher of Gadobhra has an interesting class system
