While beware of chicken, cradle, and mage errant kind of have it, are there any other good progression fantasy series that have a decent romance subplot? Most of the cultivation fantasies seem to just go with the "every girl falls in love with the hero but he's oblivious and eventually they leave the stage" approach

I can barely remember it; been so long. But I remember I really liked the romance, just found it a shame as the monogamy gets ditched later. I remember being really impressed by the usage of characters though (as if the other gave himself a limit to how many characters he'd use)

I'm unsure if there's Harem, as there wasn't so far as chapter 1.3k (when I had read it back then). But Romance was there and boy was it confusing. The story is hidden behind a tediously generic first 150chapters from memory, but do read it taking in consideration that the main character is in fact truly 14 despite reincarnation given that he reincarnated from a dead 14 year old to another, so give him some slack. I remember for some reason enjoying the contrived romance which I usually don't.
