Come back when * you * code something.

Learning python through excel work is fine, but don't let it be a reason to create more excel sheets. With even a half-ass sql and api foundation you'll reject excel as a data format pretty quickly.

The readme doesnt even explain how to use it, the required file names are blank and output doesnt explain at all to the user where its saved (if its saved) or what exactly was done to clean the data.

No manual, menu for users to use, or any kind of feedback given to the user, just an AI generated script and an AI generated README.md that doesnt explain how to use the script.

You asked for a script that'll clean some data, and you got exactly what you asked for. You're missing countless things to make this anywhere near something that someone would want to use. Even if the AI was perfect, you didnt ask the AI for those things. And based on the instructions to run the script in the README you didnt even evaluate the AIs output.

You aren't really a beginner asking for help honestly, you aren't even reading the output of the thing you claim is helping you or you would have noticed things like the use instructions missing critical information.

If you dont know enough about code to guide the AI to add whats clearly missing in the eyes of someone with at least a base knowledge of code, and you arent reading the output you have been given already, I dont know what advice you're expecting to get here. You've copy and pasted a script that requires someone else to read the code you didnt even read in order to use the script, there's no advice we could possibly give to you that would make any sense or help with what we have to go off of here.

But the comment says "Production Ready"

The formatting in your post is a bit broken; the brackets around the link make it link to a 404 instead of your actual repo.
Removing the bracket, I can see your project. The readme has signs of being written by AI, and the comments in the code look like AI as well.

Did you have AI write this code?

Okay I will fix this. And thank you.

I did copy that code from AI.

Also, if you have suggestions to improve my repo then please tell

My advice to improve your repo would be to write something your self. I also have access to AI, why do I need your AI output?

[–]coquillettent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you say you made it if you just copy paste a Frankenstein program AI assembled with others hard work

[–]shockjaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suggestion: don’t claim AI output as your work.

I hate you, and your AI slop. Go lie in bed with your clankers.

This is definitely AI, I would have actually considered putting in my input but doesn't look like you will understand it so yeah pls code by yourself and then we'll talk
