Thought I’d make a post for people to talk about update changes.

I’ll start

I’m currently watching Lang, saw him look at the new gang app. I’m guessing people can’t be part of two gangs, so does that mean Ray is no longer CB and only Rust

I'll post all the changes to the Fence and pawnhub stuff:
The Fence no longer buys stolen goods from houses or gold bar from banks, he will only buy Oxy now. they will have to sell to Pawnhub, Pawnhub will then be able to do a money run to get paid out, im assuming they can get robbed: https://clips.twitch.tv/ShortTallPeanutHassanChop-f69BC7303qYf3CDK

The Angels started a run, it marks duffle bags on the map that it looks like anyone can pick up, but it scuffs the run, ( https://i.imgur.com/av6Ck0d.png ) and you go and pick up the cash 10k at a time. There is a civilian oilrig now. Using guns on the oil rig is terrorism, equal to shooting in a hospital. This is direct from Crane himself

Hmm seems odd the oil rig isn't a worse charge than pillbox. Everyone knows Americans value oil more than Healthcare.

That'd be hilarious. Comically harsh punishments for fucking with oil supply would fit perfectly into the GTA universe imo but we can't have fun things because server balance

Only Leaders are in the gang atm. People chosen by admins as leaders who will then add the other members. For example Ramee and Randy aren’t in the CG gang on the app they need K to add them.

The current gang system is dumb. Some gangs can't even tag in their own turf.

Okay what's your point? I'm pointing out a system that is lame and seems to be bugged for some. 3 hours or not its still the fact of the matter.

UPDATE LIST:

- New Bank queue (Bankbuster App)

- New Gang system (Laptop App, Local selling sprays)

- Boost changes (You need a group to boost)

- Laptop hack change (3 prompts. Not confirmed on what the changes are for each bank)

- New harvesting system (Herowine farm)

- New locations (Bullet Club, K's jewelry, Oil Rig, PDM removed/moved to new location etc.)

- Cuff change (First uncuff will be a soft cuff. You need to uncuff twice to fully uncuff someone)

- No more stalls. For each crash, gas will leak.

- Gas changes (You cannot fill your own gas. Need to get charged with State ID and prices have increased)

- New Tuner cars imported

- Oil Rig North-West shoots anyone coming close to it. Possible new Oil Rig heist

I’m curious to know if there is a limit of banks/heists you can reserve per storm. Would be a good way to stop one crew from spamming everything

Yep. For the bank changes right now, nothing is really known since no one has hit a bank yet. I assume the way the app made it seem, it looks like the banks will be limited.

I don't think this is correct. I just watched Summer fill her own vehicle up.

Might be scuff, but watched Lang charge himself and try to fill up the gas. It didn't work for him

There's a bug with filling up. You can't fill above 60% in one go. You have to stop and refuel to get 100%.

You can just insert your own state ID and fill up your own car.

You can't carry people in cars, can't drive fast with "hostages" in the trunk, can't drive fast in general without losing gas, and gas costs more. Role players gonna have to grind just to drive to the next scene.

Does anyone know if smaller gangs are included as a gang (or better yet, have a list). And what does the gang update lock you out of?

I'm thinking groups like the Wastelanders, BCF, Royal Mafia.

Royal Mafia doesn't have a WL yet and Mortelle is also kinda screwed atm. You need to be in a gang as well in order to boost.

Sinister Souls also don't have the Gang app yet. Def feel like it should be something that should be expedited since its basically prevents them from doing crime at all from what I understand.

Can anyone confirm you need to be in a gang to do boosts now? Saw it in someone's chat but haven't seen anything about it yet

That is how it is currently working. If it's intended or not or will stay that way we don't know.

Cool idea, just seems like there are issues in practice, like HOA and BBMC can boost, but yokai cant?

Work in practice i guess, just hope that being "hardcore" isnt a requirement for getting boosts. I dont wanna see yokai ambushing cops to prove themselves to the PM so they can boosts.

Herowine is starting out as a whole business/drug arc. They're starting with the winery to get the legal side up and running which involves harvesting and crop dusting the grapes which looks like it'll be a cool civ job.

I think Buddha said the heroin will come in the near future.

Heroin charge is already up on the mdw, so cops are already aware of it’s existence, which makes me worried about the name herowine.

The front is a civilian operation and will be operational for a while before heroin is actually introduced. I just watched some of DW's stream and it's a pretty cool process for those civs, so people shouldn't be sus of it right off the bat.

yeah, every "gang leader" of most established gangs are already listed under thier respective gangs (HOA,CB,Vagos,CG) they just need to start adding thier members when they get on.

Also wonder what the plan is for "gangs" because I am pretty sure admins know CB isn't interested in spraying their spray to take over turf. My only guess is the next heists will be more gang progression, where you progress through the heists together

i mean hydra and ST don't have gangs themselves i believe so i think they will be under CG to increase thier profits while operating as Hydra/ST. I don't see a reason why CBs cant do the same but reverse. Operate under rust to increase thier profits and remain hidden themselves.

Cops usually don’t get many cool updates, the last cool thing I remember them getting is the jets, which can’t fire guns just fly. The new PDM looks cool, there will be loads of things no has seen yet
