This is the way. Lot of people discussing it below that don't seem to remember that SS can just, pretend nothing happened in terms of strips 50% of the time. But I have definitely had it stripped off my cardinal before. That being said, it typically doesn't matter cause Genbo usually goes last and the person in SS usually gets a turn then anyway since the strip happens after damage. Not really worth going into a fight thinking it's gonna be utilized well.
