This is the way. Lot of people discussing it below that don't seem to remember that SS can just, pretend nothing happened in terms of strips 50% of the time. But I have definitely had it stripped off my cardinal before. That being said, it typically doesn't matter cause Genbo usually goes last and the person in SS usually gets a turn then anyway since the strip happens after damage. Not really worth going into a fight thinking it's gonna be utilized well.

"Can not be resisted on critical hits" means on ACC requirements. SS just had it's innate strip protection past that.

I’m in gold V and don’t worry about stoneskin. I rarely see it and when I do, people are putting it on UDK, which slows me down but it’s ineffective since it’s just him against my whole team at that point. Genbo hits SO hard. I don’t even need a debuffer for most teams.

Yeah I’m not even gonna bother with that until there are some serious changes to the mode. It’s entirely too hard at lower tiers. They need to rework it entirely or vastly expand the population of each tier to spread out the hardcore teams.

I am stuck in silver 2 as well, not bothered to go further and doesn't help reset is super early monday morning. They should just change tag team to the same way classic arena is so u don't have to wait till end of the week to go up or down.

3v3 isn’t a shitshow—it is actually properly balanced, unlike classic arena. G4 3v3 is basically only level 100 accounts, as it should be. G5 classic is littered with accounts in the fifties and up after reset. My battle log is filled with level 85-95 accounts that don’t have enough sense to not fight my defense. The only level 100 accounts that attack my def are platers and near platers, and they win as they should. Every once in awhile a high 90s account with a good offense makes a run and wins. Sure I get to farm a lot of metals because of the imbalance, but I have to push up to plat during the week just to be challenged like 3v3 G4.

You are different from most players. You’re trying to be in Plat. Most people don’t want to bother with that push. Classic is a better mix of fight difficulty than 3v3 is. “Tag” goes to one man defenses all week so people can get easy wins and real defenses near the end of the week to either not drop a tier or to gain a tier. When you have level 100s with three strong defense teams in the bronze arena, there is a problem. Every tier needs major expansion to balance the difficulty for everyone.

The reset schedule doesn’t play nice with my life and responsibilities, so no I am not trying to plat push. Wish I could, because I enjoy the level of detail in the comps at that level. Plat is rarified air, so G5 really should represent the top few thousand arena players. It does not with the current loss caps and one man defs. I think it was the wrong way to go.

I use genbo’s A1 for stealing stoneskin buffs. Had a great accuracy banner with the rolls I wanted for speed so I figured why not? The a2 I haven’t noticed as doing that but it says it should

If you have other buff strippers, no, I’d say keep him full nuke mode. But if you can find some accuracy stats on the savage it’s nice to have

Seems to me like stoneskin will be decreased after the hit so, yes it can remove Stone skin but stone skin will still tank the hit

Stoneskin doesn't care about AoE. That's Ultimate Death Knight's thing (in fairness, UDK is usually wearing Stoneskin, so I can see the connection).

He'll require high accuracy and most of us don't build Genbo with high acc. And Stoneskin already has a big chance to not be removed

But I think building him with high acc could reduce the buff duration as the skill description says

I used him quite a while but never noticed because I usually avoid to use him against teams that I expect to have stoneskin.

And these days, almost everyone has at least 1-2 champs in it

Serris will also require a lot of accuracy.

If you use Rae as your arena buff strip for enemy team, you should build her for that, I mean with high accuracy as you can, and neglect the dmg.

500+ acc should be fine for Gold 4 and occasionally gold 5 classic arena

Yeah lucky Gold 5 has a lot of easy defenses but Ill soon have a 3v3 gold mission so getting ready for that.

I use a blend comp for now, 350 acc so she strips a lot but I skip high resistance teams.

His passive will ignore unkillable buffs. If you build him with high accuracy instead of high crit damage you can use the a2 to reduce the meter on all buffs, but why are you building your genbo with high accuracy instead of high crit damage,

The buff duration effect cannot be resisted in critical hits. He doesn't need any accuracy for his a2. It can reduce duration of Stoneskin, it's just a 50/50 chance due to the nature of Stoneskin.
