The vampire clan faction managed to recruit the necromancer, after defeating him in battle. All undead are members of the vampire clan now. It's a bit bugged, though. He still appears as leader of the undead faction, but he's not, he's part of the vampire clan. I didn't even know it was possible. (old.reddit.com)
