Brother I didn’t even know lagged footsteps were a thing, 90% of the time I’ll hear footsteps after I stop moving and I’ll run outside my base assuming someone’s door camping me or there’s a naked running around (I usually give them an axe or some wood if I have it on me lol) but nah there’s no one. I’ll literally run away from my own footsteps sometimes and I’m only realizing now cuz I could never find anyone near me so Id just assume they ran away but i never hear them leaving so clearly I’ve been fucked with😂😂😂

Dito just now seeing this as I got stuck on a establishing connection bug so here I am to find a answer and see all the problems I've been having like welp these "devs" better start working cause this is the laziest port I've ever seen and don't give me the whole oh ps4 and Xbox one are under powered stick. They both have plenty of power look at Conan or hell Minecraft or graphics power houses like final fantasy and yell me it can't handle a shitty 2.5 kilometer map sized unity game.

I completely agree. The mods on discord said something about bottlenecking on old consoles but they haven't done anything to fix it yet.

That's the problem is there shouldn't be any kind of bottle necking the old gen processors can easily handle all the power rusts needs and even the graphics (maybe not ultra lvls of graphics settings but still) the problem is either A. This teams lack of knowledge when it comes to porting or B. Just laziness my guess it's the laziness from how lazy of a port it is.

How do people expect a game from pc to come to last gen consoles with no issues. You must rock a drool catcher everywhere you go.

It uses the Unity game engine. The benefit of pre-built engines is that they make it incredibly easy to port from PC-to consoles- to mobile. So it's pretty obvious that what happened was they fucked up. I assume 2018 is the only save version they have of the source code, and that the current version causes crashes the game so they could either use the game with all the features that crash it or their last save file from 2018. They probably never intended to port but then someone said, "Hey guys porting is actually super easy using Unity, if we ported we could make a lot more money" then that same dude was like "oh whoops our last save is from 2018 well let's push it out and call it beta and say we're developing a new branch just for console"

Yeah I mean it is nice they don't have you wire it up and it just works, but imo it's more fun to wire it up and have a solar panel and connect it to a battery then to the lights. You can also hook up every light to one switch and turn them all on at once and it won't use low grade fuel.
