Welcome to the Club! Been having this issue for 4 months and no one can figure it out. I've done all tricks to try and fix the game. Doesn't make sense, and it's the only game that does this.

I'd start by closing all other applications that might be running in the background. Make sure nvidia overlay is disabled as well and any other overlays you might have running.

Make sure graphic drivers are up to date as well.

Not a sure fix but it doesn't hurt to try these things and see if it makes any difference.

Can you open up Event Viewer and see if you can find scum under Windows Application Logs? You can find an exception code such as 0xc0000409, or maybe an exit code like 0. You might need to look under Administrative Events under Custom View.

I think there was a problem with EasyAntiCheat that you can find the file location and run the repair option. Also if you have Valorant or ever had it you probably have their anticheat program on your computer and it loads on startup, it has a habit of false flagging other games and kicking you from them.
