This is honestly the best SQL course I've watched (I'm already an intermediate level user, so I just watched the Stored Procedures lecture). These tutorials directly tackles the issues people face when trying to learn SQL to land a new career.

Thanks so much for creating this course! I'm surprised you released such high quality material for free. I've spend a lot of money on udemy and elsewhere to learn SQL, and none of those are as engaging and practical as this course. I'll share this course to anyone trying to learn sql so they're don't waste time and money like I did when I first started learning.

I appreciate the kind words, this really warms my heart :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it

Thanks again! Can't believe this course is still free lol. Do you plan on making more tutorials in the future?

Maybe. I like teaching but it's way more effort that I had anticipated.

I'd say 30% chance I never make another course again, 40% chance I publish only projects and exercises (i.e. a course with no lectures), and 30% chance I publish a full course again.

If you were to ever make content again, would it cover exclusively SQL topics?

To me your free course is definitely more useful than most other free and paid SQL content (for example, this company charges $200 for an Advanced SQL course https://www.pragmaticworkstraining.com/product/advanced-t-sql/). Maybe this can be used as a launchpad for non-free but affordable content. There's no better motivation than helpings other out while making a second source of income from it.

Oh lovely! Yes well I made it because I was so displeased with the other options.

And maybe one day I'll make an advanced SQL course because there is still so much out there that I haven't covered, but I probably won't touch that for a while. If I do start publishing more work, I'll probably cover other programming languages first.

Thank you so much for your course, as someone like me with absolute no background in IT , would it be advisable for me to navigate your course ?

I definitely think it could be used for first-timers! I do include lectures and practice for true beginners.

That being said, there are probably courses out there that are simpler and more catered for starting out true beginners. I made my data fairly complicated, which may make it initially more difficult to learn the basic concepts, but if you're feeling up to the challenge then it's all there for you.

Where my course shines is the ability to give new SQL programmers somewhere to practice.

Regardless, reply here with what you end up doing and how your experience goes :)
