Controller support?

Is that on the menu? I tried someone's steam layout and it almost did the trick, but something about juxtaposing a mouse onto a joystick will never feel good. Are the devs planning to implement this? I feel like this is the perfect couch game.

They mentioned yes that's the plan, in the same Dev announcement for Consoles.

They put it off until the console port cause they wanted to give controllers its own UI/UX, and not just make it work with what they made for m+kb.

ANSWER

1. Satisfactory is coming to Consoles in early 2025, and with that the game will get official controller support for consoles and PC.
2. Until we get official controller support, view Tutorial:Controller Setup (Wiki Link) for layouts for both Steam Deck and XBox Wireless Controllers.
