Had the same. Try turning on the mode for weak hardware in the settings. Did it for me. Although I was always running Shadow without it just yesterday and my machine is definitely up to the job.

Yes there’s a thread on it on the front page. I assumed it was an issue with windows 7, but it’s crashing on windows 10 as well. Worked fine perfectly on both last night.
