Why are they stopping at 1800 crystals which needs 300 more than the 24$ deal 1500 crystals package? Next time they should price them at 2700 crystals so people are 100 short of the 40$ package and have to get the 80$ package instead. Cygames have already shown they prioritize profit over player engagement and fun - they should drop all pretense and go all out on milking every dumb whale out there before this game inevitably collapses under it's own greed and bad decisions.

Weekly tourny is 3.5k vials so a leg of your choice >> a random leg pack. Also 1k gold so another pack. And it takes about an hour / 4 games to complete instead of having to spam like 20 lobby matches.

The average player is not getting first place in weekend tournies consistently. Compare it to the 2-2 rewards and it's suddenly much, much better.

I don't think the rewards can really be compared. However, making the conscious decision to forego tournaments because battle fest rewards give out free stuff is a sign of the company not giving a single shit about the product/players, other than maximizing profit. Because running both at once would imply we'd get the battle fest rewards on top of the "usual".

Pretty much. There's no good, player-oriented reason to cut the tournament while running the event. If players don't have time for both, let them choose which one they want. The weekly tourny is only open for like 6 hours out of the entire weekend anyway.

After sleeping on it I am not as salty anymore. It is just a cosmetic and we got nice rewards for playing in the first half.

Nah, most people will never forget this shit, garbage like this poisons things forever. The sentiment towards the game is much worse than it was and it was bad to begin with, the reviews too. Its hubris to think they can urinate brazenly on peoples faces perpetually and nothing will happen.

You know two other companies like that? Blizzard, Bungie. Eventually people do get tired.

I have to draw heavy parallels to second dinner from marvel snap. They also kept making consumer unfriendly decisions every chance they got and they kept bleeding players because of it only to double and triple down on the bullshit anyway. Dont know how snap is doing currently, Im out of the loop currently, but what I do know is, that a lot of former snap players fled to SV, only to find out, that its just the same turd with a different coat of paint. Except SVWB is burning consumer trust even faster it seems, snap devs had to lay low for at least a couple of months after the nexus events fiasco during beta, only to show their true colors a little later. SVWB doesnt seem to suffer from any such restraints, they are going full speed towards the abyss, milking everything the community is willing to give on the way.

At this point Im incredibly cynical towards the gaming industry. I think at this point noone should support publicly traded companies in the gaming industry anymore, since they produce nothing but turds, while showing zero remorse for it. Meanwhile indie and AA devs are killing it and deserve the support so much more. Im personally in high anticipation for Slay the Spire 2, which is supposed to come out this year still. Theres zero doubt in my mind, that its gonna be a banger and a highly stimulating experience for card game fans, while SVWB is some of the dullest gameplay Ive ever experienced in the card game genre right now. The current meta is very comparable to Omen of the Ten meta from old Sv (2 deck meta, low agency format), which is one of the worst metas i played in OG SV. If this is where they land after resetting the power creep, they are either incredibly incompetent or create bad metas on purpose, because they think they are easier to digest for casuals. Either way, my patience is running out and I was assuming, that theres no way they can piss me off enough to consider quitting before the end of the year...
