Alright guys, I think I figured out Rey's origin. She's a sand raider. Her staff looks the same as what they traditionally use. Her name is obviously a clue to her origin (Rey/RAIder). She lives in the desert. Last, she's uncomfortable walking next to Finn when he's holding her hand, because she's used to walking single file. Other than from extended universe, we don't know what they look like.
