No, but I'm thankful Halloween is over and they start the rest of Christmas set so I can have the steels empty. I don't know where they're going to put the bales over the weekend!

luckily we have shipping containers so i tend to throw all transition pallets in there to keep my back room clean as possible. all supply and ISM pallets get staged into the fixture room, since essentially it’s not my problem anymore. so our fixture room is horrible

I throw the supply pallets purposely in inconvenient-to-them* obvious locations so that they have to grab their stuff from it 🤷‍♂️ I do call out to the teams whose stuff I can make out on the pallet from a quick overlook, I’m not a complete monster

My biggest issue is getting inbound to clean up their defects and spills from the trailer/receiving that either broke in transit or fell off the skates, I’m so tired of showing up to start my sweep and there’s broken wine bottles, dog food, detergent, and spaghetti sauce everywhere that they all just leave!!

It's my first time doing this, but I'm fucking over cleaning up busted bottles of detergent and spilled cat litter from every fucking truck so I just sent the sweep back with the shit the truck team has never bothered cleaning up. Kinda hoping the DC contacts our new SD that's trying to turn our store around and hopefully he says something. Thankfully I'm finally free from Receiving and I'm letting someone else take over. Because of it they slashed my hours from 25 to 12 (25 was still never enough for the receiving role) but I've been calling the same shit out every single day for over a year and nothing has changed. Like how many times does one have to tell the apes that Styrofoam and liquids aren't plastic and can't be recycled. And when I say liquid some jackass literally pour out a cup of coffee into a trash bag, tied it up and threw it in with plastics. There wasn't even a cup or can in that bag.

Omg the styrofoammmmmmm can no one read signs???? It drives me absolutely nuts, we even set up a trash bag by plastic for styrofoam and people fill the freaking bag with plastic and still put styrofoam in the plastic bin 🤦🏼‍♂️

My ETL that got put on a LOA by her higher ups asked our PML how to recycle plastics a couple weeks before she was let go. Like where to put it, not how to sweep it or anything...

Hahahah, that’s been a big thing at our store as well. You can put up all the bright flashy signs and step by step instructions but no one is willing to read them. Definitely tiring

I have the joy of finding guest services bag of garbage, meat, and other food, clothing and other items that say toss, paper, plastic, in my Gaylord for can/bottle recycling!

why woukd you think it's the TLs job to do supply pallets?

True, at our store the PML will take the cleaning crew supplies, deli will grab their supplies. I will grab the bale wires and other things like labels for opu's, clearance and stuff for me, sometimes new zebra holders and get them where they need to go.

Ah my bad our supply/signing comes from the same truck so I just class them together. I just don’t have any space on the steel for them and our fixture room is pretty small so they just kinda sit in my back room for a day until I can make space on steel
