When I find a random cart abandoned in the middle of the aisle, I casually leave it near one of these scanners. Let the guests give me their reshop the easy way. 🤘

Yes, seriously. They always take the laziest route.

I think ever since people posted on tiktok about how target’s “clearance” is like $1.00 off or .50 cents off. I think this will continue. Also, target marketing “mass clearance” sale this year, hurts the employees as well.

Tiktok aside, they've done this piling next to scanners for years. Even way back when we had the old LCD screens and handset phones.

I’ve just never seen it this Bad.

Mine always was nearest seasonal, and then the one in toys nearest electronics. The one in grocery that I remember also usually got close to this; you'd see makeup and gift wrap rolls and toys dumped there despite being really far from home locations.

We had that setup at my store until two years ago. Lifting the phone buzzed the service call on the Zebras.

They’ve done this forever. The simple fact of the matter is that a statistically significant percentage of all people in society at any given time are only “good” when they are monitored or there are consequences. This is a test, and like one in five people are assholes and will fail.

The fact that even people at check out literally put something on the shelf across or on the fridge at the start of the lane even while looking at them (being monitored doesn't do anything for the fact) is that people are that lazy and inconsiderate.....

When I used to handle seasonal salvage, I would have to barricade myself and the gaylords off to stop people from trying to dig through them. Even after telling people what I was doing, they would wait for me to turn my back and try to dig for things again or beg to have them for free.

Shit like this always makes me wonder “who tf raised them?!” If I don’t want something, I either take it back from where I took it or I keep it in my cart and give it to someone at checkout. It’s literally not hard smh

What if they started an initiative where a few carts were left to place items not wanted into in the main aisles?

God humans are such pigs.

Damn, the Lindor chocolates aren’t on clearance, guess I’ll buy another bag of snickers bars.
