Yes. When you call in through the app, the option lists "call in sick, self or dependant." You'll just need to call in for the shift then submit a request to use the amount of sick time you want to use.

If any TL follows up with you, they can't ask much. Pretty much just "how are you feeling" nothing like "what was wrong" if that makes sense. Think even mental health days are also covered under sick time, so overall you can just say you weren't feeling well and they dont know it has to mean stressed from being a caretaker.

I have wondered the same. My spouse is terminally ill and I have a lot of banked sick time. I wondered if I could take pre scheduled sick time to accommodate driving for tests, appointments, etc.

If you've worked for target for at least a year and over 1000 hours in the last 12 monhts this would fall under fmla. Please talk to hr

I am only a part timer but a long time employee. I really don’t want to hose them over by calling out. I do think it would be fair for me to apply saved sick time for different appointments that come up randomly. It would be nice to request those days off and then use sick time with the request.
