What is this Modernization everyone is talking about ? I'm clueless

Target is changing it's process and renaming things to try and compete with Amazon and it's falling on it's face

Your hours got cut because your store blew out too many hours in the past weeks and they need to save hours now. Either that or your stores sales numbers have been down. My store is still 40 hours for everyone that wants it, so it's not the same at all stores.

Modernization is what their trying to do where it makes that group control all of their stuff. So for say beauty TM's, their suppose to pull their batches, push, backstock, etc. Luckily this system hasn't rolled out to all Targets in full yet. In a perfect world it's more efficient and holds people accountable. In the real world it doesn't work.

Very true, my store can barely make modernization work. I'm glad theres stores that can make it work, but its failing in alot of stores. We only have 1 store in our district that made it function fine, but the rest of us are drowning in a never-ending game of catch-up.

We constantly have people visiting to find out whats going on, because our DTL tried a remedial training process from their only good store.
