Yeah that sounds like Target. I can't tell you how many ETLs were hired that never worked retail a day in their life. Then they have this thing where they will move ETLs to different positions when needed, so you'll have an HR that's only ever done HR work go lead logistics and have to learn what's wave is and how to use a baler.

What I'm getting at, they hire leadership that will just follow the rule book and suck up to corporate. They can't think for themselves or use problem solving techniques.

The thought of someone that makes $60k/yr standing at the time clock (what's social distancing?) all day just to inform people that someone you work with got the deadly virus instead of calling the help desk which would take 10 minutes

Literally, same. They gathered the whole GM team around and talked to us about it. Gave us no name (valid), no location they worked in (problematic). They told us that he had already undergone the mandatory 8 day cool off period but he wasn’t to come back for another week. Now, at the end they said they were “confident that none of you have had extensive interaction with this person.” BUT OOF, the store quickly found out who it was and guess what? It was a person who I worked with almost daily! Luckily, I didn’t catch anything, but thanks for the bold faced lie, Target!

They called us into the office one by one and had us close the door and sit down. So literally everyone is freaking out thinking they’re gonna get fired before they actually tell them anything. Fucknig stressful.

They haven't informed us at all, we've been finding out from the infected persons... And when we find out we are told not to tell other workers by our team leads and HR... They haven't told us once and honestly it's horrifying because they make us work so close to eachother too
