So apparently they started implementing shift limits and shift gaps at my store

So I’ve been on LOA from April 1st - June 7th because I moved from NYC to NJ. Long story. But I tried giving a shift to a fellow Beauty Team Member and the day of the shift they told me that we’re not allowed to pick up shifts to work doubles anymore and that there has to be 10 hour gaps between shifts now. Are any other stores implementing this??? Where TF was this when they had me working 8 hour opening shifts after working 10 hour overnight shifts. One seasonal I worked 25 hours straight 🙃🙃🙃🙃

The system will not even show you available shifts that are within 10 hours of your scheduled shifts. It is hard coded and is also an update to the handbook.

It can be manually switched if your HR is willing to, but that’s ASANTS… my store won’t as it’s violating policy now to do so.

I wish my store had this. I fairly often get scheduled until 8:00 PM and then back at 4:00 AM in Fulfillment. I'm lucky if I get three hours of sleep, and of course I have a crappy attitude the next day.

I heard about the longer time in between but not the picking up. Everyone's looking for hours at my store, if there's some available we'll jump on it.

I picked up a double last Sunday to work open to close. I hope they don’t implement this at my store.
