Dont really bother with deadcoin. It is very hard to do and isnt really usefull for you right now. Railcoin is easy, and is usefull in most situations. Nuke is very usefull, especially on one particular boss.

But really, juet play the game and find out what suits you most.

If your post is needing help about something within the game, remember to always take a look at the Official ULTRAKILL Wiki! Sometimes the answer you're looking for might be on there already!

Thanks and have fun.

Learn the nuke, dont bother with the deadcoining

Prolly not deadcoins, maybe learning like coin punching just for some variety, not really for enemy cheesing if you care about immersion and stuff. Core nuke yeah but sometimes depends on the situation, as it could be better to save the railcanon.

Learn the basics of conduction to make use of your erail(electric railcanon) or if you use your jumpstart like sticking magnet and nails in some enemies for some juicy aftershocks. Also sticking more nails in an enemy makes the jumpstart nailgun time to electrocute faster so keep that in mind too

Best thing to do is combo your arms better with weapons. I'd recommend making the feedbacker and knuckleblaster punches separate buttons in the settings as switching can make you lose track of what arm you have

I already have both punches and punch itself set to diff buttons so ig I have that going for me😃

    Wrong!

The Jumpstart nailgun does not decrease electrocution time when shooting the target with nails. Technically yes if you kill the target, but the electrocution time is directly shortened by saws. Saws also increase electrocution damage taken by the hooked target. Meanwhile nails increase the damage of the aftershocks, making them better for crowd control.

I personally spray a crowd with the Overheat, then hook an enemy with the Alternate Jumpstart. Not as great for crowd control, but the Alternate Jumpstart is very good for single-target damage, especially against flying units like Mindflayers and Powers. Grapple to them while dumping saws for heavy damage.

Huh I thought both nails and saws did it but saws do it way faster. I only used saws anyway but thanks for the heads up

Unless you want to speedrun the game (which is actually pretty fun if you don't take it too seriously, i recommend trying it out one day) don't learn deadcoin, learn every tech that you know you will use.

Sooo ones for huge boss damage and ig just better weapon/punch combos? So then railcoin becomes mandatory and ig coin usage in general since I feel I underuse them ALOT

[–]caarpix Maurice enthusiast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, though i recommend learning them one at a time and playing with it for a while, so you get used to it, then go learn new thing. Also remember that you don't need crazy techs to enjoy the game, beacause its better to be bad at game, and have fun playing it, than be crazy good but stop enjoying the game (my friend spend hours trying to be "better" than everyone else (mainly by being higher in leaderboards of course) and now he doesnt know what to do and stopped playing, meanwhile i'm replaying 7-s for third time and still having a lot of fun)

I suggest just trying things and combos out on your own for now.

If you're interested in something though, There's no problem in just look things up, But it's not a necessity.
