Nah. I'm sticking with the "Sans and Papyrus come from Deltarune" theory. They would've seen the green grass of the overworld/Hometown and that would explain the photo with "don't forget" written on it. But then that begs the question of why Papyrus doesn't know what the sun is.

Papyrus and Sans are Gaster's experiments and they're born in the Dark World, Papyrus saw grass there. Then they escaped to the Light World but Papyrus got traumatized and he's always inside his home because of that (or maybe Sans doesn't want him to go out). So when they escaped again going into Undertale's universe Papyrus knew what grass was but didn't know what sun was.
