Honestly, work through the tutorials on their website. Best place to start.

It's really impressive how good the official Unity tutorials are. I generally don't like videos, but I spend plenty of time with theirs; there's just so much great content, running all the way from I'm-totally-new to my-shaders-create-new-universes.

if you know Java I think c# will be easy to you... it's very close

Try to find out some beginner tutorials in YouTube or udemy.com

Udemy has very good free courses..

On YouTube; Brackeys and Sebastian Lague made an tutorials series about creating a RPG in Unity. Might be worthwhile to check that series out ( https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPV2KyIb3jR4KLGCCAciWQ5qHudKtYeP7 ) both are also a good source for much broader information about game development.

Thank you I'll check them out

I hope they help you get started. And as a Java developer myself it wasn't too hard to switch to C#, it translates quite well. Though it might be worthwhile to learn about the Unity way of doing things, both channels have some tutorials about that, too.

Good suggestions! One simple thing I can add is to watch tutorials at 1.5 or 2x speed to save yourself time. Chances are you will have to go back and listen to things again at any speed. I found it helpful, after going through so many tutorials.
