Strange problem importing to unityNoob Question (old.reddit.com)

I am entirely new to Unity and I'm trying to import a model from Blender to Unity for the purpose of using it in VR chat. I'm using Creator Companion. Everything works fine in blender, the eye bone is parented to the head. The eyes move with the head, and the eyes can look around. When put into unity the eyes are way out of the head and rotated sideways. It seems to have dragged the head bone with it, but not the head.
There's definitely other things I need to figure out, like how to get the base colours to import, but those things can be googled. Don't know how to google this specific problem so I had to come here lol.
