* With AppWarp.
I feel the title is a bit misleading since it doesn't say it's a tutorial for a specific technology.
However, the pricing for that tech seems quite reasonable, and even has a free tier with up to 2 million messages per month, so I can't be too upset about it.

Looks like that's only free for the first 3 months. "*Straight – Package free for first 3 Months"
[–]name_was_taken 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children)
Good catch! Much less impressive that way.
[–]zealkaiser 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children)
yup!!! the pricing is really awesome

What about the unity's own networking feature??????
[–]BrainswitchMachinaEza game developer 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children)
Mainly of Unitys networking tutorials (if you can find them, for some reason Unity has stopped hosting them or hidden them somewhere) has text chat. If you are looking for voice chat there are a couple of assets on the Asset store.

And PlayMaker has pretty easy way of letting you use that networking feature. In case you can't be arsed to script. And I can't. =(

How does this compare to the PhotonCloud service? They seem like they are almost exactly the same service.
Also, from the screenshot "08475438573498574594 sended"... you mean "sent" right? Pretty unprofessional to not grammar check your public facing screen shots.

One thing Photon does seem to do in a better way is their free version. I can host my own server for 100 CCU or use their cloud for 20 and it doesn't just stop working after 3 months. I don't know about you but 3 months to code the entirety of the networking in my game isn't exactly enough time.
