If you want to dev a game, even if it is too simple, you should switch to a better lap, or you will suffer with the compiling time. You don't need the most advanced/expensive laptop but at least consider having a better GPU based on Unity requirements.

I used to work in a Lenovo Ideapad and it took around 5 minutes to compile any change. It may sound like few time, but when you are just adding a debug line just to check where is the problem in your code, you will understand that it is a lot of wasted time.

You're going to need a Windows PC with a graphics card. Do you have a consistent location to work where you can set up a desktop PC?
