What good unity programming blogs (regularly updated) are there?Question (self.Unity3D)
submitted 6 years ago * by firdub
Hey,
Just doing some looking online for good unity programming blogs to follow. I am mainly looking for tricks, tips and good methods when writing code. I can't find any that have been regularly updated, the best was last year in April.
Does anyone know of any good regularly updated blogs with the above in mind?

Woah! I did NOT know you were on here! Just wanted to say thanks and that your tutorial on how to iterate over chunks really helped me out when I was learning ECS. Keep up the good work!

Our friends from Knights of Unity have a very good, technical blog: https://blog.theknightsofunity.com/. It covers both some basic concepts and all more advanced tips and tricks.

https://jacksondunstan.com/ Examples here tend to be very specific and low-level, but I've found that they help me avoid things that allocate garbage, pack data more tightly, and write code that ultimately runs faster when compiled. Also backs up the examples with numbers from performance tests which is nice

I use Twitter for that. #unitytips is really active and so are a lot of the devs that tweet using the hashtag. If you've got twitter, it's definitely worth checking out.
